Dakota Cash is a fine arts photographer working with video and still photography. Her work deals with performance, sexuality, and psychology. Being highly influenced by surrealism, she has used the idea of manipulation in each of her projects, leaving it up to the viewers to interpret the images for themselves.

In 2011 she has exhibited work from her series Exploration at the Desire|Fantasy show at Three Gallery in New York. She has also exhibited her work internationally, at the ATK show at Gallerie 77 in the Czech Republic. This November, she exhibited her work at the North Carolina Museum of Art’s group show, Self, Observed. In May she will be exhibiting her latest project, Tristesse, at the Calumet Gallery in New York City.

Dakota is recieving her BFA in photography at Parsons School of Design in May 2012. Currently, she lives and works in New York City.
